Tuesday we had a big rain storm.  Paul came home early because there was a flood warning, luckily we didn't see any flooding in our neighborhood.  It was fun to watch the rain and lightning and we were grateful for the cool weather that followed.   Wednesday we went to the Fernley splash pad with Megan and Kynlee.  Mary loved playing in the water.  It got windy soon after we got there so we went inside to use the indoor kids pool and we borrowed a life jacket from the pool.  Mary wanted to take it home with us because she loved the frog it had on the front.  After the pool we went to the library where they have a family movie night every Wednesday for the summer.  They showed the Super Mario Bro.'s movie and Mary actually watched it and was interested in the characters.  There were two families there from our ward, the Johnson's and Durocher's.  Mary sat next to Josie Durocher the whole time while they shared grapes and popco...

Monday was the NBA finals, Celtics won.  Tuesday I got Mary signed up for the summer reading program at our library.  Wednesday Mary played in her blow up pool for two hours and loved it.  Thursday we went to the exercise class then went to Farm Days at the park across the street right after.  The programs in the area set up booths and the kids played games and won prizes and we got pamphlets about each booth.  Mary got a helicopter prize and she's still learning how to say it, she says something like "heli-tractor".   Friday we went to story time at the library and Mary got to make a paper jellyfish, which was so perfect because she loves marine animals.  In the afternoon we met the Gochenour's at the splash pad and the girls played together for a few hours.  Saturday we went to Reno to say goodbye to Izzy, our cat.  We had her for 6 weeks as a trial run for having a pet and ultimately decided not to keep her.  Mommy is...

Monday we got a crib for Katie before my violin lesson.  Tuesday we went to my 24 week appointment.  Then I ran some errands while we were in Reno and took Mary to an indoor playground since it was so hot.  She loved it and was quite the climber!   Wednesday we met up with ShaLay and Megan at the Fallon pool and Mary loved every moment of playing in the pool.  That night I went to a RS luau which was fun to go and talk to the other women in the area.  Thursday we went to the exercise class then came home and I got a bucket out and filled it with water and toys for Mary to be able to play outside and not get too hot.   Friday was busy, we did some coloring in the morning before dropping by the Gochenour's house because they had a butterfly hat they wanted to give to Mary.  After that we went to the library for reading time and Mary loved to play with the games they have for kids there.  After the library we got a birthday gift...

We had roadwork in our neighborhood this week, they re-tarred all the streets and although it was a pain to navigate, it looks great.  Paul felt Katie kick for the first time on Monday.  Tuesday we went to volleyball and came home to a package from Grandma Wendy.  She sent us some really fun books, Mary has been reading her new counting book and duck book all week. Wednesday we went to the park with the Gochenour's.  We got there a little early and met Vickie and her husband and step-great-grandson at the park.  Mary played with Damian, the grandson, who brought some paddles and a ball.  Mary played with the paddle and ball until Damian and Vickey went home, which makes me really happy because I'm hoping she'll be my future tennis partner.  We stayed for a couple more hours then walked home.  Mary wished we brought the stroller because it was a really hot walk.  We're working on Mary's letters and for the letter U her flashcard ha...

Monday was Memorial Day and Paul stayed home from work.  We spent the day in Reno then came home and enjoyed the nice weather.  Tuesday Mary and I went to volleyball and Mary had fun playing with some new kids that recently moved to Fernley.  Wednesday we went to the park with ShaLay and her girls.  EverLee yelled, "Mary!" when she got to the park and the two girls ran towards each other with their arms open and then gave each other a big hug, it was so sweet.  Paul had a late meeting with their Japanese client.   Thursday we went to the exercise class then I had Winnie and Vickie over for a ministering visit for Vickie.  They loved Mary and Izzy and it was fun to get to know Vickie better.  That night we watched Dallas beat the Timberwolves, which we are excited about.  Friday we met up with ShaLay at the park again then we drove to Fallon in the afternoon and went to the splash pad there.  Mary was apprehensive at first but ...
