Roberts Family History

Monday we started the day with Banbury Cross donuts and Mary eats her donuts by eating the top centimeter off to get all the frosting and then leaves the rest. After breakfast we went to Mrs. Cavanaugh’s chocolate factory in north salt lake with Matt, Hannah, their kids, and Wendy for a little tour of the facility. Wendy took Mary and Addie out for lunch then they went to the Bountiful temple and visited Grandpa Mike’s grave. That night we went to Hire’s with Joe, Andy, and Emily then went to Joe and Brooke’s house for games. Mary loved playing with Aunt Brooke coloring with markers and putting the pictures on the fridge with their fun magnets.  Tuesday we visited Elaine before driving up to Logan. We went to Gosners then met up with Adam and Sonora after Adam got off of work. Mary loved meeting their bunnies, dogs, and turtle. We went to dinner with them, walked around USU campus, got ice cream, then drove back to Wendy’s house where we hung out with the rest of the Roberts before...

  This week we went to the park every morning and swim lessons each afternoon. Mary loved all the time in the pool and I saw huge improvements in her comfort level in the water.  I taught violin on  Monday and Mary started using a night light for the first time. I thought it would keep her awake but she actually has been sleeping really well with it.  Tuesday I mowed the lawn in anticipation of our trip this weekend. I had hopes of organizing our baby stuff but I will have to get to that when we get back. Wednesday we had the mechanic come and give our car a tune up before the trip. At the pool, Mary was playing and said, “let’s move out!” A line she learned from Buzz in Toy Story. She also likes getting out of bed so I told her we have to wait for the sun to come out to play and each morning since then she wakes up and the first things out of her mouth are “I slept in Mary’s bed!” And “the sun came out!”/“the sun is awake!” Thursday we went to the exercise class and...

  Monday we celebrated our 7 year anniversary.  We got tacos and kept up our tradition of watching So I Married an Axe Murderer.  Earlier that day I took Mary to the park and we met a new friend.  We went to swimming lessons for Mary in the afternoon.  She had swim lessons each afternoon this week. Tuesday we went to the park again and ran into a family from the neighboring ward and had an unplanned play date.  Wednesday we ran into Marissa and her daughters again at the park.  She was meeting up with a friend, so we kind of joined in on their playdate for a little bit before heading home.  That afternoon we met up with Megan and Kynlee at the pool to play before Mary's swimming lesson and we ended up seeing ShaLay there with her girls as well and the girls had a great time playing together.   Thursday we went to Reno for an ultrasound and we got to see how Katie is growing.  The doctor was very happy with the ultrasound, Katie...

  Monday I did some yard work in the morning then we played in Mary's pool in the afternoon.  Tuesday we went to the park then later made some necklaces.  Wednesday Paul got home from Japan!  We missed him and were so happy to have him home.  Thursday we went to exercise class and had a blast with the neighborhood kids.  Friday we went to the park with the Gochenour's. It has been a minute since we've done a play date with them, it was fun to get together again. Saturday we took Mary to the fun park.  They have a big indoor playground, Mary had a lot of fun climbing around and playing with the other kids there. That night I went to a girls night with the neighborhood moms.  We watched Austenland and did gel nails. Mary says, "Smile Helicopter!"   Monday we went to the Gochenour's house for Lydia's birthday party.  Mary had a blast and loved playing "keepy uppy".  She didn't really get why she didn't get to open the presents but all the kids liked playing with the toys.  Monday through Wednesday it would be sunny and hot all day then it would rain from 6-8 in the evening.  It was awesome and we loved sitting outside enjoying the rain together.   Tuesday I talked to Clare Schramm.  Wednesday Mary had a bad dream, so we slept in but we made it to the library in the afternoon and met up with some friends.  We got soaked when we left to go home because it rained a little earlier that day.  Thursday we went to the exercise class and Mary joined in with the moms exercising.  She was a great dancer and kept up really well!   Friday we got up at 4 am to get Paul to the airport for his business trip to Japan.  Mary thought he was getting on a spaceship but now she say...
