Katie : I got up early in the morning to get Katie a bottle. She was crying and kept saying over and over, "Mom! Where are you??" She can hold a short conversation like, (Hi Katie) "Hi Dad" (how are you?) "Good" (what are you doing?) "Nuffin" Mary said some naughty things this week. She got mad and said, "I'm so pissed!" then she was mad at Katie and said, "You are a yucky little bastard." Obviously she didn't really know what those words meant so that was a wake up to us to use better language around her. She also said some funny stuff like, "Mom! You are killing me!" when I couldn't find her toy. I made some homemade hair salt spray and she saw me mixing "ingredients" in some water, she said, "you’re like a scientist lady” 🧪 Mom : I finished my desk. I asked to be released from young women. I feel a mix of emotions. Dad had a really physical week at work and felt very tired but he seemed...

Katie is developing more independence. We went on a family hike and she didn't want to hold our hands if she didn't have to. She wants to do it on her own. She also is very interested in using the toilet. She wants to poop in it but she ends up sitting there for ten minutes and playing with toilet paper. Mary said some funny things this week like when she was pretending to be my pillow and I pretended to eat her she said, "Mom! You gross me out!" I coughed a little one morning and she said, "Mom, do you have a frog in your throat?" Mary tries very hard to do what I ask and be a good helper to me. She is so loving and service minded. Mom : I had a really rough week this week. I got up Monday to do my workout and I had a hard time breathing again - the same as before I went to the ER in May. I was also very light headed. I ended up going to the ER again and getting all the same stuff done - EKG, chest x-ray, CT scan. They could see my lung is healing and has t...

Katie loves to say, "no way!" Jack Durocher is her favorite person. Whenever I tell her we're going to see Jack, she gets her shoes and waits excitedly by the door for us to be ready. Mary said, "Is that so?" when I was talking to her this week. She loves to say, "I told you!" Lydia finished school this week and came over to our house on Friday. Mary was so excited to see her friend again. Mary practiced reading and writing every day this week. Mom posted 3 more videos this week on social media. They did okay but she has more ideas for this next week and will hopefully get ahead of it a bit more. She walked 4 nights this week and did 3 days of weights. Dad is really honing his health goals. He successfully completed his second 36 hour fast this week and is taking pictures and videos to document his health journey. He figured out a way to do rows using the bench and the bar, which he is excited about. Monday was a normal day of cleaning the house and ge...
