Katie turned 2! She is pretty attached right now, she gets nervous if I'm not with her. She didn't want to go to tumbling or nursery this week. She was also sick this week and didn't nap well. She might have some molars coming in. Mary said this week, "Woah Mom, slow down. Where was I when you were my age?" I said something along the lines of her living with Jesus before she was born. Mary said, "Did I die?" Another time in the week she said, "It’s my last chance!" I told her a separate time that Katie thinks she is the coolest. She said, "I am the coolest." Mom: I finished reading the Cruel Prince trilogy and the companion short story. I have mixed feelings about this book series. I love it but I hate that it has all these political elements in it that have nothing to do with the story. Dad got a flat tire on the way home from work. We had to drive back together to get his computer so he could work from home. He showed us where it ha...

Katie is doing really well at speaking in full sentences. I was helping Mary with a craft and Katie said, "don't cut it! Don't do that!" Mary loves to put treasures under her pillow when she goes to bed. It might be special toys or an outfit she wants to change into as soon as she is awake. She said another time this week, "Will you run off please so I can put my clothes on?" Another time, I asked her, "Did you do this or did Katie?" She said, "I did it. It was my plan." Mom : I finished reading the Caraval series and Once Upon a Broken Heart series this week. My client seemed happy with her color analysis report that I made for her. Dad : Mom said some things this week that made Dad laugh. We were watching Clone Wars because Mary has been asking since g...

Katie is talking really well. She can speak in full sentences. Dad asked if she wanted to cuddle and said, "Nuh-uh" Dad said, why not? She said, "I don't want to." Mary started learning writing again this week after we took the summer off. She did so well writing "bus" but the s was a little tricky. Mom : I got my first client that paid full price this week! I was feeling pretty disheartened because I did a two week sale of $30 off and literally no one used it. It ended at midnight on Labor Day and this client purchased my services at 5 am the next day, 5 hours after the sale had ended. But I'm very grateful! I was working on her draping and I showed Dad some examples and he finally admitted out loud that he could see the difference and that it proved that color analysis is a legitimate thing. I also finished my book, Legendary. Dad liked having a 4 day work week. He was sad we didn't go to Shoelaces and get his root beer freeze. Monday was Lab...
