Katie loves to say "yes!" She also says, "Ooo, what's that?" she said that when I was giving her the panda chocolate filled crackers and when we went to the Gochenour's house about their table and chairs. She also says "I stuck" many times a day. Katie loves to be outside whenever possible, but the snow was a little uncomfortable for her. She loves being read to. She grabs a book then crawls into our laps to get comfy. Mary would say, "you are being tricky today!" when she was cross with me. She loved the snow this week. Mary loved getting hugs and kisses from Katie this week. They were very cuddly. Mom and everyone is still getting over our sickness but we enjoyed cuddling together. I had fun at the galentine's party on Friday and the book club on Saturday. Dad worked from home a few days this week due to the snowy weather. He has been so kind and helpful. We had fun listening to podcasts together and he helped Katie get back to slee...

Monday Dad woke up feeling very sick but went to work anyways. Lindsay let me know she was sick and wasn't going to teach that morning, so we didn't watch Jack and Josie. Dad came home early and I went on a run while Katie napped. That night I taught violin. My throat felt very dry that night, I thought I was just dehydrated but it turns out I was getting sick too. Tuesday I woke up feeling absolutely horrible. I showered and still went to my dentist appointment. I grabbed some soup and Gatorade on my way home and we all just stayed home and rested and watched movies. I was in bed for 5 hours sort of sleeping but so achy and feverish. Mary slept a lot of the day too, she was also pretty sick. We're all coughing a lot, have runny noses, body aches, and have no appetite. We think we got it from Paul's work, his coworker Chuan has Influenza A. Wednesday and Thursday were more resting and cuddling. Dad took my car to Fallon and got the oil changed. Friday was my birthday. D...

Katie climbed onto the trampoline by herself! She liked sliding down the ramps at in-town park while Mary was in her tumbling class. Mary was so brave at the doctor! She got three shots and didn’t cry. She followed instructions so well. Two funny things she said this week: "My brain is lost!" and "You’re going to get me killed!" Mom : I stuck with my workout schedule for what feels like the first time this week. Running Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday; weights Tuesday and Friday; bike on Thursday. Dad had another great week of sticking with his goals. He got a cold over the weekend and work has been frustrating this week. Mary woke up a little sniffly Monday morning. We took her to the doctor in the afternoon for her wellness check. The shot she got on her right leg got all red and swollen but the swelling went down as the week wore on. That night I taught violin. Tuesday Mary had dance class. It was such a beautiful day that I took Katie to the park to play. She li...

Katie loved giving hugs to BrinLey when we played with them at the church. She loves to say "apple". She also makes a little "rawr" when Mary is playing dinosaurs, it is so cute. Mary : Whenever Mary sees a whirlpool or similar she shouts, "Tomato!" (tornado). Mom got her three days of running in. After her Saturday run she noticed more bruises on her right leg again. Apparently overworking the muscle can cause bruising? Interesting that it's only happening to one leg. Dad had a good week of studying and reaching his goals. We are very proud of him! Monday I taught violin in the evening. Tuesday Mary had her tumbling class. Wednesday we went grocery shopping and I got some things from the dollar store for the Valentine's party Lindsay and I are throwing together in a couple of weeks. Thursday we went to the exercise class. We had a little goodbye party after to say goodbye to Jessica and Addie Allen. They are moving to Anaheim for their next work a...
