Monday we were invited to a spur of the moment play date at the church. April and ShaLay were there, it was nice  for us to get together. I taught violin that night.  Tuesday I had a relief society activity, we put together hygiene kits to send to Florida for hurricane relief.  Thursday we went to exercise class. Katie loves dancing in the baby carrier and got a little nap in.  Friday we had ShaLay and her girls come over. They played on the trampoline, with play dough, and did a great job sharing toys.  Saturday we drove to Reno to get pictures of the girls with Santa but Mary was very scared so we went to Scheels where she saw the fishies and found a Dory fish. Sunday we fed the sister missionaries dinner and enjoyed family time.  When Mary was playing this week she used phrases like, “it’s no use!” And “oh no! We’re trapped!” Katie girl Smiling Katie EverLee, Mary, and Lydia play at the church Smiling Katie Mary and Katie in their Christmas dresses...

Monday Paul got to stay home for Veterans Day. We made a day of it by going into Reno. We ran errands and went to the mall then did a Costco run before heading home. I taught violin that night.  Tuesday we went to the library, Wednesday we went to the park with the Gochenour’s, and Mary loved checking out the snow on Friday. We had a relaxed weekend at home.  Mary: “I did it! Big poop, little poop, little poop, little poop!   Katie has been sleeping so well at night this week, I can't believe how much energy I have.  I asked Mary if she could share a book with Katie and she said, "Yes, but not right now!"   Tuesday I was feeling claustrophobic so I decluttered and organized some closets.  We were happy to see that Trump won the election. Wednesday we met up with a group of moms at the park for the first time.  We met Maria and her daughter Giovi over the summer and they invited us to join their mom group when they started meeting up again in the fall and this is the first time we were able to join.  I was nervous to meet a bunch of new people and pack up both kids alone to go to the park but it went really well and it was nice for me to meet more moms with kids that are Mary's age.  Mary likes finding treasures whenever we play outside and at this park she actually found a really cute watermelon clip that she has kept close this whole week. When Mary woke up Thu...

Paul started back at work this week and his coworkers welcomed him back with open arms!  Tuesday was Paul's birthday and one of his technicians made him banana bread. I made him pumpkin s'more bars as his birthday cake and we went into Reno for a birthday dinner.  We then remembered why we don't often sit down in a restaurant since having two kids. Monday afternoon Josie Durocher invited Mary to her dance class Halloween party.  Mary had so much fun and is excited to start at the dance studio herself in January.  Tuesday the Gochenour's had Mary over for a playdate.  She had so much fun playing with her friends, she missed seeing them this past month. Katie has been sleeping really well this week.  She had a couple nights where she slept 7 hours straight! Halloween was so fun, we went to the play group at the church where we had a pot luck and Lindsay Durocher brought toys and crafts for the kids.  The kids loved showing each other ...
