Katie's strawberry hemangioma that was on her eyebrow bled again this week but is actually all healed now, I don't see a bump at all anymore. Her speech is getting so good too. She can ask questions with real words and can copy us really well. She copied Dad when he prompted her to say asphalt. Mary is so creative. She loves animals and asks me everyday if she can be a certain animal or character for Halloween. She wanted to be Ghost Spider (again) and have Katie be Electro, she also wanted to be Merida (and Katie would be Tiana, Dad would be Black Panther, Mom would be Rapunzel, and Nana would be Ariel - the girls would match the princess card for her Yoto). She also wanted to be Sisu the dragon and a flamingo. She is a good cleaner and helper to her mom, a good jumper and climber, a good friend, and a good sister. I am so proud of her for always being gentle with Katie, even though Katie is going through a little bit of a hitting phase right now, and she is so patient with he...

Katie loves to help me sweep. Whenever I get the broom out, she wants the other one and helps me sweep the floor. She is very good at copying words and can speak better. She saw a picture of a cat and said, "cat!" She can also say all our names. Mary loves to get 20 kisses at bedtime. She says, "20 kisses, don't count!" I'll say, "That was 20." She says, "No, that was 19. 5 hugs!" She also said to me this week, "Mom, don't look, I'm sneaking!" Mom : another week of keto down. I exercised each day this week including going on three runs, one of which was my weekly 10k. I learned more about color analysis this week too. Dad had a stressful week at work. There were massive layoffs. Gratefully Dad and his team stayed intact, only one technician was laid off. Another team that Dad works closely with, CAM1, got hit hard. They lost 5 of the 6 engineers, which was a big cause of stress and anger to Dad. They were all friends and...

Katie got her strawberry hemangioma looked at, the doctor said it is benign. She scraped her cheek on the t-ball toy, so Mom tossed that out. She loves dancing and singing with her sister and her friends. Mary says magnet, "nigh-met" She also loves Pokémon. We've watched it a lot this week. She especially loves Jessie from Team Rocket. She said, "I want the real Jessie to come to my house". She was also excited to write a letter to her aunt, Eliza. Mom had a slow week to start but still fit in 3 runs this week, including her Saturday 10k. She successfully completed a full week of keto, she's completed 12 days in total. Dad had a good week of exercising hard and eating well, even though the food was not his favorite. He had a fun time hanging out with his friends at BWW for Tami's birthday. Kieran, Boyu, Will, and some other guys also were there. Our normal activities were canceled this week for spring break, so it was a slower week. Monday I just did the...

Katie copies words we say all the time now. She said red, walk, shoes, socks, eyes, and more. She knows what a lot of words mean when I talk to her, even if she doesn't quite say them yet. She watched Mary intently and tries to copy everything she does. Mary asks to go to Nana's house and see Aunt Eliza so they can make bracelets together. She also suggested we invite Grandma Wendy over to our house. (Me: The hair clip is just for decoration) Mary: "For decoration?? But I’m not a tree!" Mom had a great first few days of keto and she is excited for her new project with ShaLay restoring some fun furniture she found for free! She also had a good week of spring cleaning. Dad will meet 1:1 with the CTO of redwood for being a top performer under the VP of Cathode manufacturing (Ivor). Dad's worried that Redwood will go out of business before next summer. He's also worried about worldwide conflict and how it will impact our economy. He's stressed about the house ...
