Katie is getting more mobile. She can climb up onto the couch (when Mary has removed the cushions so it's not so tall) and she can climb down on her own (as long as she doesn't go head first). She's getting her first molar! It's on the bottom right. I put her in her high chair for breakfast and she tapped her hands together to sign "more". It's the first time she's done that! Mary has said so many funny things this week. She almost fell while playing and she said, "Woah, that was a close one." We were crossing the parking lot (with no cars coming) and she said, "The cars are going to squish us!" We played the crow game before bed and Mary was rolling the dice when she said, "Blue's coming up!" I was getting her out of the car when she said, "Mommy is the queen, Mary and Katie are princesses, and Dad is Your Highness!" She found a lamp in the office and brought it to Dad to plug in. We had it in the guest room...

Monday I cleaned, did some writing, and made dinner for the Tomlinson's, they just had a baby girl. Tuesday we had Jessica and Addie over for a playdate. Mary and Addie struggled to share toys but I think they had fun. Wednesday we went to ShaLay's house for a playdate. She got a bunch of hand-me-down girl clothes so we went through those and brought home a ton of stuff for Mary. It was great because she is growing out of her current clothes. It was fun to see them. Thursday we went to the church for the weekly exercise class. Lindsay taught REFIT and Naomi Storey came. ShaLay, April, and Jessica were also there so we had a good group. That afternoon Lindsay watched the girls for me while I went to the dentist and got scanned for my retainer. They gave me a cheap one in January but charged me for an expensive one so they tried to get me to pay for the temporary one and replace it but I was not having it so they did the scan and are giving me the retainer for free. Katie: Katie is pulling herself up on anything she can and can climb out of her car seat if I leave her in there unbuckled. She is great at eating the dinners I make. She finished eating her grapes while we were playing outside and decided she wanted to start collecting rocks in her bowl. Mary: Mary had dance camp. Funny things she said: when doing her letter flash cards "hmm, that's a tricky one." And when we would come home from dance camp, "there’s no one here!" Mom: I have two new violin students! They signed up through Fernley Performing Arts website. I have now completed 4 weeks of walking! Dad: Dad talked to Ivor on Monday and is in a much better head space with work. He took his guitars out and is playing again. This week's activities: Monday Dad brought home a fun meal to celebrate our anniversary since the celebration did not go as planned last Saturday. Katie : Katie stood up for the first time this week on Thursday! Mary : Her underwear got tangled on her legs when she was done going potty. She got frustrated and said, "My underwear is out of control!" Mom : I had a good week of exercising and reaching my goals. Dad : Dad had a good week of sticking with the goals but is still burdened by work. He has a better idea of what he wants to change so he can have more peace at work. This week's activities : Monday we FaceTimed with Nana. She was excited to tell us about her time in Georgia. It was fun to catch up with her. Wednesday we met up with Lindsay, ShaLay, Jessica, Penelope, and Courtney at Ponderosa Park. Naomi Storey recently moved to Fernley and she came to the park too. She plays tennis and pickleball, we made plans to meet up and play, I hope we actually do it. Thursday we went to the church for the exercise class.
