This week has been great weather and we've been enjoying playing outside and looking for ladybugs.  Paul enjoyed watching the NBA playoffs.  Mary has also been a great eater and has eaten all the meals I've made, I'm glad she is exploring new foods now.  Tuesday I put on a RS activity about meal prep and did a demo on smoothie meal prepping and another sister showed us how to prep and freeze breakfast burritos.  A handful of sisters came and we collected some recipes to make a ward cookbook.   Wednesday we had a playdate with April and William Kimball who live across the street.  Mary and William played together well and I liked getting to know April better. Mary was helping me clean up her toys before they came over and she sang, "clean up, clean up, everybody to you!" to the tune of the clean up song then switching to the tune of happy birthday.  Thursday we did the weekly exercise class which was a lot of fun, as usual.  Paul got th...

Tuesday we went to volleyball and a lot of people came and we got to play some volleyball technique games.  Mary loved playing with the kids that came.  That afternoon we went to the Gochenour's to babysit for a couple of hours while ShaLay went to a doctor's appointment.  Mary loved playing games and dress up with EverLee and Lydia.   Wednesday we went to the park with Megan and ShaLay and had a picnic.  Mary had a great time because there were 4 other girls in our group and then there were two other girls at the park that joined in and they all played so well together and had a lot of fun.  Thursday we had our 20 week ultrasound and found out we're having a girl!  We're excited for Mary to get a baby sister.  Friday we did a ministering visit.  Congratulations to James for getting engaged on Saturday! We had a fun week of watching basketball and playing outside. Mary telling me to wait "2 minutes" until I can do her hair for ...

Monday we got a text from a cat shelter we visited over the weekend to get some feedback for why we didn't adopt the cat we looked at and Paul relented and said we could adopt her after I bugged him about it "relentlessly".  Tuesday Mary and I went to the church and had a playdate with the Gochenour's for a couple of hours.  We met up with Paul for lunch and that evening I had my first meeting with the activity committee to plan our activity for May. Wednesday I did some deep cleaning and I facetimed with Clare Schramm in the afternoon.  That night we drove to Reno and picked up our new cat, Izzy.  She's a 3 year old domestic shorthair.  She was terrified when we brought her home and she stayed behind the washing machine for the first 24 hours, only coming out to use her litter box and eat. Thursday we went to the weekly exercise class/ play group then went to April Kimball's house for a little play date.  Mary and April's son, William, had...

Monday we organized our shed and made some banana bread.  My ministering sister came by and gave me some flowers to plant as a gift to say congrats on my pregnancy.  Then we watered our grass and I taught violin. Tuesday Mary and I went to the church for the volleyball activity but it was just ShaLay and her girls that came so we just talked for an hour and the little girls played together.  Wednesday we went for a walk and then played at the park for two hours before coming home and making dinner. Happy birthday to Grandpa Mike on Thursday, he would have been 55.  Mary and I went to the exercise class and had a blast with friends then went to the park in the afternoon where Mary attempted to catch a butterfly with a dandelion.  Mary always asks to watch the "scary opetus" (octopus) where there's a scene with a giant squid in Finding Dory.  She likes to watch that scene over and over. Friday we babysat a little boy in our neighborhood while his mom ta...
