December 26 - January 1 2023

Monday we got up at 5 am and Dad drove us to the Provo airport. Mary was feeling very tired from an eventful weekend, and she slept most of the flight then we all got a nice long nap in once we got home.

Tuesday Mary was feeling better. Happy Anniversary to Jacob and Brianna on Wednesday! Thursday, we went to College Station where Texas A&M is. Mary had 3 teeth poke through this week, her other two incisors on the top and a molar on the bottom right. She is practicing walking and is getting so good at it! She loves to copy us and still loves to dance to any music she hears. Her favorite song is Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. She's getting pickier with food, but she loves pears and warm oatmeal with bananas.

Friday morning, I got a haircut then we went for a little drive before we started the packing process and filled out some paperwork for our new apartment in Nevada. Saturday, we celebrated New Year's Eve by going to Olive Garden and watching movies. Mary went to bed at her normal time and so did I. Paul got me up at midnight to see the fireworks. Mary got up at 5:30 am and I tried to put her back to bed but she just wanted to be held. Paul got up at 7 and took care of her while I went back to bed. She was still tired, and she eventually laid down on her bedroom floor and just fell asleep without a sound machine or anything and slept for two hours like that. We went for our Sunday walk a little later. We need to enjoy the mild Texas winter before we move north in 3 weeks.
