Happy New Year! We were playing with Mary's stuffed animals on Monday and she said "Where's diapers?" then goes into her room to get the bear she sleeps with, so that's how we found out she named her bear Diapers haha. When she was done playing with him she threw him on the floor and said "all done, Diapers!" She played basketball with Paul and he gave her an early birthday present of a little kid basketball hoop that you can adjust the height. He made it a little taller than the lowest setting and Mary said, "No, Dad, too big!" so he lowered it back down. She was being pretty silly when we were putting her to bed and climbed under her bed while we were reading books, then she jumped out and said "surprise!"
Happy birthday to Mom on Tuesday! Tuesday I got our ladder out and we put up Mary's glow in the dark stars on her ceiling that she got for Christmas. It took a long time but it turned out really cool! I even made some of the stars into real constellations and did a milky way bit too.
Thursday we went to the play group/exercise class and Mary got to play with the Gochenour girls. ShaLay has family in town so I met her parents and a few of her siblings.
Friday we went to Kynlee's house and Mary had a lot of fun playing with Kynlee's toys. She doesn't know Kynlee very well and we hadn't seen them since before Christmas but hopefully they will get closer the more we get together.
We had snow Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday this week, and there was a lot on Saturday, so we had to shovel our driveway! Unfortunately it doesn't face the sun.
Happy birthday to Amelia on Sunday! Mary went to nursery for the first time today, she would usually take a nap but now that we are at 9 am church she went and she loved it. She's the only one that goes to nursery so she didn't have to share any toys and she got lots of goldfish crackers. I taught with the sister missionaries in the afternoon and it was a great lesson about the Book of Mormon, then I had a Relief Society presidency meeting.
Some more fun things Mary said this week: I don't remember what we were doing but she laughed and said, "That's so silly, mommy!" When I ask her where something went or what happened she shrugs and says "I don't know!" With I and know being high and don't being low. She likes to chase me when she's on her toddler bike and yell "I'm gon' getchu!"
