Monday morning we had our HVAC technician come by to double check that everything was okay with our AC unit. He also noticed our gas was turned off for when we would eventually need to use our heater, I'm glad he preemptively fixed that. Then I got some crafts out and Mary made a little picture to send to Nana. Mary continued to feel creative and also wanted to play the piano before her nap. She has her bottom right canine coming in but hasn't been too bugged by it.

Tuesday was the 4th of July! We went to the parade first thing in the morning. Mary loved waving at all the floats, and she got a lot of treats and toys. We stayed inside for the heat of the day and watched City Slickers and did some crafts. We had a 4th of July dinner of hot dogs and watermelon before we went to the park and watched the fireworks. We went home and Mary and I went outside to look at the stars, we even saw a shooting star!

Thursday, we went to the church for a weekly fitness class that the three Fernley wards put on. There were four moms there including me and they all brought their kids. Mary played really well with the other kids, and they were so nice to her, I'm excited to make new friends here.

Friday, we went to the library to see what programs they have going on. They have stopped reading time for the summer, so hopefully that will start back up in the fall. They are doing summer crafts though, so we stayed and painted a mug. We also got Mary's little playground that day and Paul had fun building it for her and Mary had even more fun playing on it. She was unsure of the slide at first but now she has no fear and could play on it all day.

Saturday, we continued working in our yard, it feels a little daunting with all the work we need to do to prepare for grass, but it is a lot of fun to work on it together. Sunday, we went on a walk before church and Mary fell asleep for the second hour with Paul. I enjoyed the Relief Society lesson on ministering and continued to meet more people.
