Monday was moving day! Paul picked up the U-Haul first thing and we got everything packed up within an hour. We had the Sparks Missionaries come help along with Wendy, Emily, and Andy. Then we cleaned the apartment and drove to Fernley for the final walkthrough before we got our keys. Everything was fixed from last Tuesday and looked perfect. We had to wait for all the paperwork to get recorded so we grabbed lunch and Paul took Emily and Andy back to Sparks to pick up our furniture that wasn't available to be picked up until 1 pm. I got the call while they were gone that the keys were ready, so I took Wendy and Mary, and we got the keys and everything in the cars unpacked. Mary fell asleep during the process and was disoriented when she woke up in her room. We had the sisters in our new ward and the Fernley Elders help us unload the truck and that went by pretty quickly too. Paul returned the U-Haul but had to go back to Reno to drop it off which was frustrating. Wendy, Emily, and Andy went with him and they went to Costco after. Mary and I organized the boxes into which rooms they belonged to. We had Papa Murphy's for dinner and watched the Lego Movie while Paul and Andy started building furniture, I unpacked smaller boxes, and Emily and Wendy played with Mary and helped unpack. Happy birthday to Peter on Monday.

Tuesday Paul, Andy, and Emily finished building the furniture, and Wendy, Emily, and I got most of the boxes unpacked. I had to go set up water and mail but that was quick. Jeanette is our rep with the builders, and she came over to fix our garage and check on how we're getting along. That night we got Chinese which was super good and watched Knives Out.

Wednesday, we found out our rug got canceled so we ran to Walmart in preparation for our couch being delivered later. We came home and had breakfast with Wendy, Emily, and Andy before they headed home. Our couch was delivered that morning and we got that set up, then Paul and I hung up our pictures. Spectrum came over to set up the internet.

Thursday, Paul went to work, and I went through the house to make sure everything was organized how I wanted. We got our trash can and Mary and I went to Sparks to turn in the apartment keys. I organized the last closet in the afternoon then went to a Relief Society activity that night. Paul weeded while I was gone, and Mary loved playing in the yard. Friday, Paul reorganized his office area, and we renewed our passports.

Congratulations to Peter and Mykael on having their baby! Happy birthday to Finley on Saturday! We started the day by doing some yard work and it took me back to doing yard work as a kid when Mom and Dad built their house in 2003 and we spent a lot of time sifting rocks out of the dirt using 5-gallon buckets and tennis rackets. That exact situation is in my near future haha. We dug a shallow hole in the yard to mark where we want to plant a tree and Mary loved it! She liked to stand and sit in it and take her shoes off to play with the dirt in her toes.

Sunday, we went to our new ward then came home and realized our AC was out, but we were able to get it back up and running. That was lucky because the high was 99 degrees, and the rest of the week is supposed to be in the mid to high 90s. Mary was so attached to Paul and me this week. She would snuggle with us more than normal and just wanted to be close to us. We're in a new place and we didn't spend as much time with her early in the week, so we enjoyed quality family time over the weekend.
