Paul started back at work this week and his coworkers welcomed him back with open arms!  Tuesday was Paul's birthday and one of his technicians made him banana bread. I made him pumpkin s'more bars as his birthday cake and we went into Reno for a birthday dinner.  We then remembered why we don't often sit down in a restaurant since having two kids.

Monday afternoon Josie Durocher invited Mary to her dance class Halloween party.  Mary had so much fun and is excited to start at the dance studio herself in January.  Tuesday the Gochenour's had Mary over for a playdate.  She had so much fun playing with her friends, she missed seeing them this past month.

Katie has been sleeping really well this week.  She had a couple nights where she slept 7 hours straight!

Halloween was so fun, we went to the play group at the church where we had a pot luck and Lindsay Durocher brought toys and crafts for the kids.  The kids loved showing each other their costumes.  Paul came home early to go trick or treating with us at the town hall event.  Mary loved trick or treating and her ghost spider costume.  Katie was our little pumpkin for Halloween, she was too big for her newborn outfit but we made it work for one more day.

Friday Mary climbed into the bed with Katie and me and snuggled under the blanket.  I was falling back to sleep when I heard Mary's very soft whisper, "I need yogurt.  I need yogurt.  I need yogurt." Haha then I got up and got her yogurt.  Winnie Blesh came to visit us later that morning and brought Mary a baby doll. Paul was able to come home early again and we drove to Fallon to check out a Christmas market that I've been looking forward to.  Mary liked the little beds they had set up by the movie area where they were playing Rankin Bass Christmas movies.  On the way home Paul really had to poop, so we pulled over and he squatted behind a sage brush bush and took a giant poop.  Then, while he was wiping he tried to stay in a squatting position but he lost his balance and fell butt first into a prickly sage brush.  He got all scraped up.

Sunday we got to match in our church clothes.  I had a meeting with my activities committee and we got some fun stuff planned!

Mary watched a video about dinosaurs then we played with her dinosaur toys.  I asked her, "is that a dinosaur?" and she said, "no, it's not a dinosaur.  It's a stegosaurus!"  Later we played with Legos and I built something and Mary validated me by saying, "wow, that's great!"
