September 15-21, 2025
Monday we had the Durocher's over. Tuesday Mary had her dance class then Debbie Young, Jennette Geurts, and Bailey Earl came over to visit. They brought me flowers and a cute wall hanging to say thanks for serving with them in Relief Society. They were very thoughtful and Mary loved playing with Ivy.
Wednesday we went to the park with Lindsay and Jessica and their kids. Thursday we missed the exercise class because Mary was still feeling sick and needed to stay in bed. We did have to go to the store though because we were completely out of milk and I got Mary some more medicine.
Friday we stayed home again instead of going to the library so Mary could have a relaxed day. I baked some banana bread and made cream cheese frosting for it to take to the tri-ward relief society activity. I dropped it off that night but didn't stay for the activity.
Saturday we went to Lowe's and bought some bushes and flower bulbs. I taught violin in the afternoon then drove straight to Reno for a regional training for youth leaders. It was two hours but I actually really enjoyed it, I thought the speakers had a great balance of being personable as well as heartfelt and spiritual. After the training I went to Costco then finally made it home at 7:30. Dad had already put Katie down and cleaned the whole house while I was gone, I was so grateful. He went out to water while I finished putting groceries away and someone's dog wandered back into our yard! The gate must not have latched when we put the plants back there when we got back from Lowe's. Dad didn't have a hard time getting the dog to back out the way he came, luckily. I put Mary to bed, I missed her after not seeing her for 6 hours.
Sunday we planted the bushes then I bathed the girls and Mary and I went to church. I had a YW presidency meeting right after church. I cuddled lots with Katie after church, I feel like I hadn't seen her in a day!
