Katie climbed onto the trampoline by herself! She liked sliding down the ramps at in-town park while Mary was in her tumbling class.
Mary was so brave at the doctor! She got three shots and didn’t cry. She followed instructions so well. Two funny things she said this week: "My brain is lost!" and "You’re going to get me killed!"
Mom: I stuck with my workout schedule for what feels like the first time this week. Running Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday; weights Tuesday and Friday; bike on Thursday.
Dad had another great week of sticking with his goals. He got a cold over the weekend and work has been frustrating this week.
Mary woke up a little sniffly Monday morning. We took her to the doctor in the afternoon for her wellness check. The shot she got on her right leg got all red and swollen but the swelling went down as the week wore on. That night I taught violin.
Tuesday Mary had dance class. It was such a beautiful day that I took Katie to the park to play. She liked sliding down the skating park ramps. I got a migraine in the afternoon and Dad came home early to help me get the rest I needed.
Thursday we went to the church for the weekly exercise class. A lot of people came this week and brought their kids. It was fun for the girls to have so many friends to play with. That night I went to mutual, it was a combined activity with both young men and young women and we only brought two games for the game night but it worked out.
Friday we went to EverLee Gochenour's birthday party. When she was blowing out her candles, she leaned over the cake and her pigtail caught on fire! One of the mom's patted it out quickly. We were all eating cake in the backyard and Katie walked over to me for a bite of cake and she tripped and face planted into our cake slice. At least it was a soft landing.
Saturday Katie woke up a lot, so I didn't go on my hour run until the evening. I ran 5.6 miles. I taught violin in the afternoon.
Sunday we didn't have youth second hour because John Bytheway spoke in Reno, so our youth carpooled over there to hear him speak.
