Katie likes to dance to Golden by Huntr/x. When it comes on she squeals excitedly, waves her arms, and kicks her legs. Katie also loves to color now.
Mary doesn't quite know how to swallow her spit quietly so she will occasionally make loud slurping sounds.
Mom looked into doing some classes with color analysis this week. I got discouraged and haven't done much with it until this week and hope to be more consistent.
Dad had a great week with his nutrition goals and exercising goals. He fasted for 36 hours over the weekend! Fasting for that long is called a Monk fast, after Tibetan Monk practices.

Monday I went for a run and cleaned up the house before Jack and Josie came over. Dad went to work but felt like he really needed to support his coworker Maria at her husband's funeral. He came home and worked a little before going to the funeral. Fangfu and Nina also went. Maria was very grateful they came, she was worried no one from work would be there. Her husband died of cancer. Dad went straight to work after. I taught violin that night.
Tuesday Mary had her tumbling class. Katie and I played at In-Town park while we waited for her. We took dinner to the Whisler's who just had their baby boy, Ender. That night I went to the combined RS/YW activity at Lindsay's house. We went in our pjs and decorated journals (PJS: prayer journal, scriptures).
Wednesday we went to the park with friends. ShaLay, Penelope, and Arielle all came. ShaLay and I stayed the longest, as usual. That night I took dinner to the Del Peloso's, Paula's dad just died of colon cancer.
Thursday we went to the exercise class. That afternoon I met up with Debbie and we visited Virginia Comish. Her niece attempted suicide and she reached out for prayers for her sister's family.
Friday I took the girls to the library. Mary was interested in the books and Katie liked their toys and games. We checked out a DVD of Scooby-Doo and Batman and Robin vintage cartoons.
Saturday I met up with Naomi Storey to play tennis. She won 7-5, it was so much fun and the weather was much nicer than last time. I taught violin in the afternoon.
Sunday I went to ward council then I was a sub in Mary's primary class where we talked about how obedience brings us closer to Christ. The girls have enjoyed the warmer weather this week and have been outside as much as possible.
