Katie loves to say, "no way!" Jack Durocher is her favorite person. Whenever I tell her we're going to see Jack, she gets her shoes and waits excitedly by the door for us to be ready.
Mary said, "Is that so?" when I was talking to her this week. She loves to say, "I told you!" Lydia finished school this week and came over to our house on Friday. Mary was so excited to see her friend again. Mary practiced reading and writing every day this week.
Mom posted 3 more videos this week on social media. They did okay but she has more ideas for this next week and will hopefully get ahead of it a bit more. She walked 4 nights this week and did 3 days of weights.
Dad is really honing his health goals. He successfully completed his second 36 hour fast this week and is taking pictures and videos to document his health journey. He figured out a way to do rows using the bench and the bar, which he is excited about.

Monday was a normal day of cleaning the house and getting set up for the week. I'm taking a break from teaching violin for the summer. Tuesday I took the girls to dance and read my library book while I waited for them. Wednesday we went to the park with Penny Galloway. I didn't know she was coming so we only saw her for about 20 minutes before they had to go. Megan and Caitlyn from the homeschool group came but they talked mostly to each other. There was a little boy there with his grandpa and he and Mary got along great running and playing with his Buzz Lightyear toy.
Thursday the exercise class was cancelled so I did some yard work. We still went to the church so I could practice the piano for the baptism on Saturday. I practiced the violin that night, after mutual. Friday we woke up to a 4.5 magnitude earthquake. The Gochenour's came over in the afternoon so ShaLay and I could work on painting my desk. Lydia is done with school now and Mary has been so looking forward to seeing her. They had so much fun playing together.
Saturday I played the piano and violin at Lizzy's, my violin student, baptism. I played piano mostly but I didn't know Gethsemane on the piano so I asked the primary pianist to play it and I played it on the violin for the closing song. Lizzy's mom had asked me to play violin too, if I wanted, so I thought that was a good way to fit it all in. It was very warm this week, high 80's to mid 90's, so the girls played in the sprinkler almost every afternoon this week. They loved running through the water in the grass then we would put it under the trampoline. It was so fun!
