August 19 - 25 2024

Monday we started the day with Banbury Cross donuts and Mary eats her donuts by eating the top centimeter off to get all the frosting and then leaves the rest. After breakfast we went to Mrs. Cavanaugh’s chocolate factory in north salt lake with Matt, Hannah, their kids, and Wendy for a little tour of the facility. Wendy took Mary and Addie out for lunch then they went to the Bountiful temple and visited Grandpa Mike’s grave. That night we went to Hire’s with Joe, Andy, and Emily then went to Joe and Brooke’s house for games. Mary loved playing with Aunt Brooke coloring with markers and putting the pictures on the fridge with their fun magnets. 

Tuesday we visited Elaine before driving up to Logan. We went to Gosners then met up with Adam and Sonora after Adam got off of work. Mary loved meeting their bunnies, dogs, and turtle. We went to dinner with them, walked around USU campus, got ice cream, then drove back to Wendy’s house where we hung out with the rest of the Roberts before hitting the sack. 

Wednesday we visited Elaine in the morning. Once Andy got home from school we took him with us to the Clark Planetarium before we met up with the rest of the Roberts and headed up Millcreek Canyon for a bonfire and family time.  Thursday we packed up and went to the aquarium with Wendy after visiting Mike’s grave. Mary was tired but she loved the tide pools. We dropped Wendy off and went to Mom and Dad’s house and hung out until Dad got home then we went to dinner together. Mary had fun playing with Mom. 

Friday we packed up and drove to Provo where I met up with Clare Schramm for breakfast and Paul took Mary over to Sam and Terry’s house. They were watching their granddaughter, Hallie, who is the same age as Mary so that was a fun playdate for both girls. After our respective visits we drove to St. George and enjoyed a nice evening with family at James and Emma’s wedding dinner. 

Saturday we had a relaxed morning getting ready for the wedding. Mary loved playing with her Christensen cousins, aunts and uncles. James and Emma got married in the Red Cliffs temple and were sealed by Emma’s grandpa. We all loved the photographer Emma picked because she was efficient with picture taking and got us out of the desert heat quickly. We had lunch and played 9 innings before the reception. We took a few more pictures then enjoyed a cool evening in Emma’s parent’s backyard. Mary loved jumping on the trampoline and we had nice conversations with Gabe and Amelia, Adam Cook, and Bruce and Barbara Cook.  We got Mary to bed then stayed up late talking with the fam.

Sunday we got the car packed up, said goodbye to everyone as they went to church then hit the road. We got home at 7 pm, it was a long boring drive but we made it home safely.

Monday I got up and pumped first thing. Paul was feeling like he wanted to go out and do something so we got ready and drove to Fallon to eat breakfast at the Wild Horse Cafe (we got takeout, of course). Mary was sad the whole drive down then Paul was sad because they soaked his whole breakfast in gravy. Everyone was upset there for a minute but we all calmed down and ate breakfast in the Fallon Walmart parking lot. Paul went in to see if they had egg whites, but they did not have them. We drove home and played outside for a bit. After I put Katie down for a nap I pumped again and Mary watched Snow White. She wasn't too scared of it, which surprised me. I cleaned up then Katie was up again. We got some Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner then watched Cinderella, which Mary loved! We ended up watching the three Cinderella movies multiple times throughout the week. She also loves the Three Caballeros with Donald Duck. I taught violin that night then pumped before putting Ma...

March 10-16, 2025

Monday we all slept in. When we all were awake we played in Mary's room then made breakfast. I put Katie down for a nap then pumped. Once Katie got up we drove to Fallon and got Little Caesars pizza. It was good but my tooth is still sore from getting a filling last week. We went to the park and played for an hour before heading back home. We went to Walmart for some fig newtons and chocolate milk. I tried to put Katie down for a nap but it didn't take. I pumped then cleaned up a bit. Paul made scones and I used up the rest of our honey and made honey butter. Katie went down for a nap then. We watched The Incredibles then Katie woke up. Paul fed her while I taught violin. I brushed Mary's teeth after the lesson then put Katie to bed and Paul put Mary to bed. I pumped again before going to sleep. Tuesday marked our 8 year anniversary of the day we got engaged. June 2-8, 2025

Monday morning Katie woke up at 7 and we saw Paul off to work. We played together until Mary got up at 7:45. I got my room cleaned then put Katie down for a nap. I had breakfast then finished writing my paragraph while Mary watched a movie. I watered the grass then cleaned the living room and kitchen before Katie woke up. I cleaned Mary's room and started the laundry then cleaned the playroom and office while the girls played with toys. I played with the girls then put Katie down for her second nap. I put a show on for Mary and I exercised and showered then watched Bluey with Mary. We made dinner together (spaghetti). Paul came home early so he could set up the squat rack that was delivered today. I made up the bed and Mary helped me. Katie woke up then. I brushed Mary's teeth while Paul practiced guitar. He put Mary to bed and I played with Katie before putting her to bed. Mary wandered in and I cuddled with her while cuddling Katie on my other side. Paul came in...
