Happy Birthday to Ben on Tuesday! Mary and I went to the Sparks library on Tuesday, and we had fun with reading time. Mary had fun playing with other kids, drawing on the whiteboard, and playing with toys. She also walked around the library waving at all the librarians, they loved it and all thought she was the cutest. Wednesday, we went to the children's museum and Mary had a lot of fun exploring. We attempted painting on the window wall and we successfully got paint all over ourselves and hardly any on the window but I was able to get most of it out of Mary's hair. We saw Irina and Alexander there and she introduced us to her friends from Russia, Julia and Nica (Dominica).

Thursday, we went to the Spanish Springs library and Mary got so into the songs that she went and was part of the group of kids participating instead of sitting in my lap or staying by my side like she usually does. She is getting more outgoing and more comfortable hanging out with other little kids. Friday, we went to Fernley for our house frame walkthrough. The insulation is installed, and they are going to put on the stucco next. We are getting very excited for the house to be done and it might even be finished a couple of weeks early! Happy birthday to Whitney on Saturday!

Sunday, we went back to Fernley and checked out the ward we will be moving into. It is pretty small but there are three wards in Fernley, there seems to be a good church presence which surprised me since it is a small town. We've had fun watching the NBA playoffs this week, no sweeps in round one. Mary had her last incisor poke through on the bottom. She just has four more molars and her canines to go.

She knows so much sign language and I feel like she is teaching it to me, she's able to communicate with me so well using her signs. She loves talking too, whenever she sees a dog, she says "woof, woof" and she will walk up to me or Paul and yell "Hi!!" it is so cute. She has a lot of fun singing and doing the motions to her favorite songs such as Wheels on the Bus and Itsy-Bitsy Spider. She also loves reading and will have me read her books over and over again. She especially likes Sandra Boynton's books.

Speaking of books, I just finished my book this week called The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It is a great book and won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 2015. It is a historical fiction book that takes place during WWII if anyone is looking for book suggestions.
