January 30 - February 5 2023

  Mary has a new molar on the bottom right. She is officially done breastfeeding; she goes to sleep very well with whole milk. Tuesday, we got up early to have a day trip to San Francisco. We checked out Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, and Ghirardelli Square. I jokingly suggested to Paul that we drive down to LA and spontaneously go to Disneyland and we actually ended up going right then! We drove down to LA that night and got there at midnight. Mary has accepted the car as her second home at this point. 

 Wednesday, we spent the whole day at Disneyland. We started by going on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, then I did Splash Mountain while Paul looked at Pooh Corner with Mary. We went on the Winnie the Pooh ride together. Then we did It's a Small World, Mr. Toads Wild Ride, then we got lunch at Pizza Planet, we caught the end of the daytime parade then Mary took a nap in her stroller while we walked through the park and found some pins and an Alice in Wonderland doll for Mary. When Mary woke up we went on the train that circles the park to get a break from walking then we did the teacup ride, the Alice in Wonderland ride, then the Storybook boat ride. Then we went to the Tiki room, we went on the Pirates ride again and Paul and I took turns doing the Space Tours ride. We took Mary on It's a Small World while we waited for each other, so she got to go on It's a Small World 3 times total and she loved it! She danced and clapped the whole time. It was a fun day! We were sad that the Haunted Mansion ride and Indiana Jones were closed while we were there. I totally saw Kevin Jonas on one of the rides with his kids, so that was pretty wild. We walked 13.56 miles according to my Fitbit. 

 Thursday, we went to the Griffith Observatory that looks over LA and you get a good view of the Hollywood sign as well. Then we drove home and got home at 7 pm. We watched Pirates of the Caribbean when we got home. It was a fun week before Paul starts his new job next week!
