Monday Paul got home from work and Mary said "hi dad" really clearly, Paul and I were both so surprised! Later that night we met with a realtor for the first time, and we got briefed on what the market looks like and we shared what we are looking for. Mary also had another molar poke through on top, so she has 10 teeth now.

Tuesday we went to reading time and we made a playdate with a new friend for the next day, Irina is the mom and Alexander is her 2-year-old son. Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment before our playdate. We were going to go to the park, but it snowed so we went to the children's museum. We were with Irina and Alexander for about 2.5 hours before we went home, Mary fell asleep in the car.

Thursday Paul worked with a lender and got our pre-approval process started. I looked at more houses in the area. Friday, I found these houses that seemed to be just what we were looking for and I sent them to Paul, he really liked them and sent them to our realtor who set up a tour for us for Saturday in Fernley. We also got our preapproval letter from the lender.

Saturday was 6 years since Paul and I got engaged! We had a fun breakfast and talked with our lender on our way over to Fernley. We spent the whole morning in Fernley looking at homes and talking to the builder. We loved what we saw and heard, and we tentatively reserved a house lot for purchase in July. We went back to Sparks and went to two open houses. One of them was really nice and we told our realtor about that one as well. Our realtor said if we want to enter into a contract for July, he wants to make sure it's exactly what we want, so he is going to take us around the Reno area this next week to look at houses. If we still like Fernley the best, we will fill out the paperwork this next weekend.

I asked Mary "what does the cow say?" and she said "moo." It was so cute. Sunday Mary slept the whole night then we gave her a bath before our Sunday walk. We went to church, and I met another mom friend in the ward.
