October 16 - 22 2023

 Tuesday we drove to Reno so Mary could get her flu shot. After that we were going to meet up with a couple of friends but they weren't able to meet us so we went to a nearby park and played there for a couple of hours before heading home.

Thursday, we went to the weekly play group and Mary's friends were so excited to play with her, but she was being shy. One friend was persistent and helped Mary get out of her shell a little bit.

Friday, we got a fun Halloween package from Nana with a bunch of violin music. I am so grateful they sent this to help me prepare to teach my 1st violin lesson in a couple of weeks. Saturday, we went to a neighborhood barbecue and had a good time getting to know more people near us. Mary was having a tough time, so we didn't stay too long.
