Monday, Mary and I woke up and Wendy and Andy had already hit the road but they left behind some nice gifts from their trip. Mary is loving dinosaurs right now and Wendy left some bath toy dinosaurs which Mary has carried with her everywhere this week. I took dinner to the Gochenour's that night and got to meet their new baby, Kinsley. They also started putting in a kitchen island and they showed me how their grass is growing since they seeded their yard too.

Tuesday, we had a playdate with Josie then we helped the Gochenour's put on their countertop that night. Wednesday, we had Lydia and EverLee Gochenour over for a couple hours so ShaLay could focus on KinsLey. That night I went to a dip night which was so fun. It's been a while since I've been to a girls’ night, it was really fun to talk to women in the area without having to chase kids around.

Thursday, we went to the weekly play group and Mary loved playing with Josie again. Paul had a boys night to say goodbye to his coworker who is moving to North Carolina to be an Industry PI at a chemical company out there.

Friday, we went to the library for reading time and Mary made a handprint pumpkin. We also saw one of Mary's friends, Sarah, and she said she is inviting Mary to her birthday party in April, so we have that to look forward to.

Saturday was the eclipse. We talked about driving for 2 hours to be in the path of annularity, but we had a rough night, so we decided not to go. I forgot about it until Mary said she wanted to go outside, and I noticed how hazy and weird the lighting was when I looked up at the sun behind the clouds and could see the eclipse perfectly! I'm glad we didn't drive that far to just be able to see it so well in our own backyard. After that we went to Lattin Farms and saw some cute animals, fed the goats, and looked at pumpkins. We also found really cute Christmas hand towels at one of the vendors stands. I made peanut butter bars that night to take to the fireside the next day.

Sunday, Paul and I spoke in church, it went well! That night Paul conducted the Why We Believe fireside where new members shared their testimony, it was a nice meeting and there was pretty good participation.
