Monday, I woke up having contractions and thought I was in labor, so we dropped Mary off at our neighbor, April Kimball's, house and headed to Reno. Mary helped April feed her chickens, rabbits, and cat and Mary also got to paint and make a bracelet, she had a great time! My contractions subsided a little once we got there but we checked in to see what was going on. I was not dilated at all, and they ended up sending us home. I was fatigued and nauseated the rest of the day with occasional contractions. Wendy got to our house that night.
Tuesday, I felt much better and went about the day normally, doing chores and running errands. Wendy, Mary and I went to the library for story time and met up with our friends, Maria and Giovi. Wendy brought play dough for Mary and Mary was in heaven playing with it.
Wednesday, I had Wendy watch Mary while I went to my doctor's appointment. Thursday morning Wendy drove home. Mary and I went to the exercise class and played outside most of the day, it was so nice and cool!
Friday, I had to go to Reno to run some errands. Paul worked from home that day, so he was able to come with us and have a little family day together. That night I went to Lindsay Durocher's house where Lindsay and April threw me a baby shower. It was so fun! We painted wood blocks for Baby Katie, had yummy food, and enjoyed time talking.
Saturday Paul finished the yard work we needed to get done and we deep cleaned the house. Sunday, we had a good meeting at church, I finished up my ministering interviews, had a quick meeting with my RS president as she was heading out of town, and wrote some thank you notes.
Mary was playing with Paul this week and ran away from him singing the baby shark song, "run-away do do do do do do"
