Monday I got up and pumped first thing. Paul was feeling like he wanted to go out and do something so we got ready and drove to Fallon to eat breakfast at the Wild Horse Cafe (we got takeout, of course). Mary was sad the whole drive down then Paul was sad because they soaked his whole breakfast in gravy. Everyone was upset there for a minute but we all calmed down and ate breakfast in the Fallon Walmart parking lot. Paul went in to see if they had egg whites, but they did not have them. We drove home and played outside for a bit. After I put Katie down for a nap I pumped again and Mary watched Snow White. She wasn't too scared of it, which surprised me. I cleaned up then Katie was up again. We got some Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner then watched Cinderella, which Mary loved! We ended up watching the three Cinderella movies multiple times throughout the week. She also loves the Three Caballeros with Donald Duck. I taught violin that night then pumped before putting Mary to bed. Katie was up twice to eat.
Mary climbed into my bed at 7:15 and we had a nice cuddle while Paul got ready for work. After he left we got up and got breakfast going. I bathed both girls then put Katie down for a nap. I exercised then pumped then showered. It was nice so we played outside before going to Lindsay Durocher's house. She watched Mary and Katie for me while I went to the dentist. I had to get a filling replaced because my tooth was rotting underneath it. They took out the old filling, cleaned out the tooth rot, then put in a new filling in just 30 minutes. It was fast but my tooth and gums were sore for the rest of the week. I went to pick up my kids from Lindsay and Mary was sad I was back so quickly, she was having fun playing with the other kids. Lindsay was also watching Bailey Earl's kids while she and her husband went to Reno to check on their new baby in the NICU. I put Katie down for a nap when we got home and pumped. Ben called me to interview me for his religion class on the topic of the gospel in marriage. After that I cleaned up and Paul got home. I put Katie to bed then brushed Mary's teeth before pumping again. Mary was having a rough day and had a meltdown at bedtime. We cuddled then I went to bed. Mary first said, "Mom, I want you to stay a little longer." Then when she was done cuddling she said, "You can go now, I'm happy." Katie got up twice that night to eat.
Wednesday Mary came in for our morning cuddle at 7:15. Paul left for work then we got up and I got Mary breakfast and pumped before getting Katie up. We went to the Gochenour's house for a playdate. ShaLay texted me the day before that they couldn't do Friday this week and asked us to come over for Wednesday. I was grateful for that because Mary really needed time to play with her friends. It was also rainy and we would have been stuck inside if it wasn't for her invitation. Mary was still sad when we had to leave and I had to carry her out of their house. We got home and I put Katie down for a nap and pumped then exercised. Mary and I played together then we made dinner, cleaned and did laundry before Katie woke up. We finished putting away the laundry then got Paul's dinner ready. We played with toys in grandma's room before Paul got home. We talked for a minute before I put Katie down for the night. Paul played with Mary while I pumped then Paul went to bed and I put Mary to bed. We cuddled for a while and she didn't come out like she usually does, she just went to sleep. Katie was up twice and Mary joined me again for cuddles a little after 7 am.
I got breakfast for Mary and fed Katie then pumped before we went to the exercise class at the church where April Kimball taught Zumba. We had fun exercising and playing with friends. We came home and I put Katie down for a nap. Mary and I had lunch and watched movies. I pumped and cleaned then Katie got up. I bathed Mary then we all played together and made dinner. I took dinner to the Earl's, their son is still in the hospital, hopefully he'll get to come home soon. Paul got home and we spent time together as a family before I put Katie to bed. I pumped then put Mary to bed with Paul. Katie was up two times to eat.
Friday Paul went to work and I pumped before the girls woke up. Katie seems to be a little sick this week, she started spitting up again and has a runny nose. She also has been drooling quite a bit, so I've started putting drool bibs on her. I made hootenannies for Mary and me and Mary also wanted a smoothie. I love that because then I can sneak some spinach in there. Katie went down for a nap then I exercised and Katie woke up right after. I took a shower and fed Katie. I made lunch for Mary and me then we went to the library for an hour. Mary had to use the bathroom while we were there and I noticed some movies they were selling for $0.50. They were a bunch of movies I hadn't heard of but they had Inglorious Bastards, which Paul had just told me this week is a movie he really likes, so I texted him and told him and he told me to get it, so I found some change in the car and got it. Katie went down for a nap once we got home, I pumped and made dinner. I cleaned up then Katie got up. Mary found a toy in the diaper bag and was playing with it and Katie thought it was so funny. It was the first time she full on giggled/laughed. Before she would try to laugh and it sounded like a cough but Mary made her laugh, it was so cute! Katie actually went to bed before Paul got home. I cuddled with Mary then made some steak for Paul. I haven't been successful with cooking steak in the past but Paul raved about it and is excited for me to keep making him steak on Fridays. I let Mary watch 3 Caballero's since Paul was working late. Katie got up and Paul got home. We watched TV for a bit then I put Katie back to bed. I pumped then helped Paul get Mary to bed. Katie has been more tired too, I think she either got a little sick from playing with the kids at the Durocher's or from Kinsley Gochenour coughing on her on Wednesday. Katie got up twice to eat then Mary got up in the middle of the night from having a nightmare.
Saturday Mary climbed into my bed, which was good because then I didn't have to wake her up to go to dance. She had a great time and would say, "heel, step, heel, step" over the weekend. I took the girls to Walmart after dance and got Mary an Easter dress and two pairs of pants that are her size. She loves her Easter dress and I can barely convince her to take it off for bed or to play outside. It's blue with bunnies on it and I think she looks like Cinderella in it. We got home and put Katie down for a nap then pumped. We played and just kind of hung around until the afternoon. I pumped again in grandma's room while Mary and Katie played with toys. Katie went down for a nap after that and I exercised and Mary and I played outside. Katie got up and I put her on her tummy and she rolled over for the first time from her tummy to her back! We cleaned up then Paul got home. We watched Christopher Robin then I put Katie to bed and pumped. I bathed Mary and Paul was worried he left an important paper out at work so he left to go grab it. He also got me gas and got our groceries so it wasn't a wasted trip. He found that he didn't leave it out but it's better to be safe than sorry. After Mary's bath I put her to bed. She was tired because she was asleep before I finished her bedtime song, Child's Prayer. I took a shower and was falling asleep when Paul got home. I helped him put away the groceries then we went to bed. Katie was up twice to eat. Mary woke up once in the night but got out of bed three times. I put her back twice then Paul put her back the third time and cuddled with her until she went back to sleep.
Sunday was daylight savings. I'm grateful we didn't have church until 10:30 am, it was a rough night and I don't think we would have made it to 9 am church. Mary had fun in nursery and I conducted in Relief Society. I usually like the lessons and discussions we have on RS sundays. We came home and Paul had made the Papa Murphy's pizza we had put in the freezer. We watched Tangled and Pirates of the Caribbean. Debbie Young told me at our last meeting that the presidents were going to get together for a meeting about how to put together an Interfaith Easter celebration with the community and then this week she said the counselors need to come then today it sounded like she wanted me to do it for her because she has too much going on. I told her I had a migraine and wouldn't make it. I get frustrated when she passively tries to have me do things instead of asking directly. As well she always acts like she is so busy with her personal life but she couldn't give me a week without texting me after I gave birth to Katie. She doesn't seem to remember how life is with young kids and acts like I should have all the time in the world for whatever she asks where she is the one that has been retired for 30 years and all her kids live out of state.
It was a beautiful day on Sunday so we went for a drive and got some Wendy's. Mary fell asleep then just went to bed when we got home. Katie took a little nap and Paul and I watched JoJo Rabbit. I put Katie back to bed and laid down with Mary when she woke up kind of panicked. I pumped and Mary was up again. Paul laid down with her until I could come back. Then we all went to bed. Earlier that day Mary went up to Paul and gave him a penny. She said, "that's my grandfather," referring to Abraham Lincoln. I don't know how she came up with that!
