Katie woke up at 4:40 am on Monday morning to eat then went back to sleep. I got up at 7:20 and saw Paul off to work. I cleaned my closet, my room, then vacuumed my room and the living room. I cleaned up around the table then fed Katie some baby food and realized that she has two teeth! The bottom two front teeth were poking through, I couldn't believe it! After Katie was done eating I put her down for a nap. I went outside with Mary and watered the grass then straightened up around the yard. I played with Mary on the trampoline then went in and started to clean the kitchen. Katie got up so I got her situated then finished cleaning the kitchen. I cleaned Mary's room then the play room then Paul came home early with Taco Bell. I cleaned the office and we ate lunch together. We went outside and I took Katie's 7 month photos (1 day late). We played for a bit then went to Walmart together. We got treats (I got lemon squares, Paul got chips ahoy, and Mary got Moana fruit snacks) and a couple of play dresses for Mary since that's what she lives in these days. Katie took a short nap and I worked on my journal. Someone from Facebook Marketplace came to pick up Fahrenheit 451 then I pumped before teaching violin to Lizzy Seamons. I am giving up pumping but today was my first day not pumping and I was in some pain from the milk so I pumped to relieve that. After the violin lesson I went outside and played with the girls in the dirt patch. Paul and I put the sheets back on our bed then Paul put Katie to bed and I put Mary to bed. I did my dscout entries then went to bed. Katie got up twice but went back to sleep with the binky.
Tuesday morning Katie got up to eat at 5:50 am then went back to sleep. Paul went to work then Mary woke up and came to cuddle with me in my bed. We got up a little after and went outside to water the grass. I started to clean up then went back outside to finish watering and Mary and I played for a little bit before coming back inside to finish cleaning. Katie got up then and hung out with us while I put the laundry away. I had a call with Debbie where she showed me how to put in food orders to the Bishop's storehouse. After the call I put Katie down for a nap and exercised. Katie was up again and I bathed both girls then took a shower. We FaceTimed with Grandma Wendy and Granny Kennard then went for a long walk. I took the girls to the park since they were so patient in the stroller while I got my walk in. We got home and I tried on my dress that I'm going to wear for Mary's dance recital in the mommy and me dance. I made dinner for Paul (Costco Stir-fry noodles and pot stickers) then he got home and ate it. He showered then we went on a family walk. Paul watered the grass and I brushed Mary's teeth. I put Katie to bed and Paul put Mary to bed. I pumped for the last time that night. Katie got up at 12:30 am to eat.
Wednesday morning both girls got in our bed at 6:30 am and cuddled with both of us. Paul went to work and I cleaned up. I fed Katie then put her down for a nap and exercised. I had breakfast with Mary then got us ready and woke up Katie so we could meet our friends at the park. We left early to get a little walk in and I listened to Anne of Green Gables on Audible. We met up with ShaLay, Megan, and Lindsay, and their kids. It was a good group. I put Katie by Lindsay and Megan while I put stuff away in the backpack and when I came back Katie was surrounded by children that were just fawning over her, she was in heaven. Mary had a blast with the kids right away. Lydia tried to take away her stick and that really upset her. She sat with me for 20 minutes until she was ready to play again. We were there for 2.5 hours then came home and had some lunch. We watched Bluey and I put Katie down for a nap. She fell asleep on the couch and I moved her to her bed. Paul got home soon after and we watched TV together. Katie got up and I fed her. We played together then I put Katie down for another nap. Paul had a work meeting at 4 pm, so I took Mary outside and we watered the grass and played on the trampoline then came inside and did a puzzle together. Paul was done with his meeting at 5 pm. We got Katie up and drove to Reno. Mary fell asleep in the car almost immediately. We went to Smith's and got chocolate croissants, Dunford donuts, and drinks. We got Grimaldi's pizza to celebrate Grandpa Mike's 56th birthday, which will be on Friday. After dinner we went to Costco. Katie had pooped but I had forgotten the wipes and had to change her with napkins from Grimaldi's. We just got some groceries then drove home. Paul put away the groceries while I got the girls ready for bed. Paul finished putting Katie to bed and I put Mary to bed. Katie slept restlessly that night, so much so that I brought her into our bed and she just slept with us most the night.
Thursday Paul went to work then Mary joined me in the bed for cuddles. We went outside to water the grass then we got ready to go to the church for the weekly exercise class. Lindsay taught REFIT and Mary played with Addie, Jack, and also the Gochenour kids when they came. Addie brought Anna, Elsa, and Christoff dolls and a Thomas the Train play phone that she shared with Mary. Mary loved the toys and had an especially hard time giving back Thomas the Train but I told her we could ask Santa to bring her one for Christmas and that seemed to appease her. We got Taco Bell for lunch then went home and put a very tired Katie down for a nap. I turned the TV on for Mary and cleaned up around the house. Paul got home early with treats then I taught my first violin lesson to my new student, Peter. He is an older man that is retired and has always wanted to learn to play the violin. After the lesson Paul put Katie to bed and I put Mary to bed.
Friday was Grandpa Mike's birthday. Katie was up around 6 to eat. After I put her back to bed I exercised and showered. Mary got up then and we both saw Paul off to work. Mary and I played in the play room until Katie woke up. We had breakfast together then played train by lining up the kitchen chairs and pretending we were on a train. I cleaned up the house then put Katie down for a nap. Mary came outside with me and we watered the grass. We woke Katie up and went to the library for toddler time. Addie was there with her mom, Jessica, and there were lots of toys. Mary loved the play dough and little toy animals the best. Katie liked the bells and blocks the best. We came home and had lunch then I put Katie down for a nap. Mary and I watched TV together then Katie woke up. I did my dscout entries then made dinner (baked potato with chili). I have had a hard time with baked potatoes in the past because I tried to bake them in the oven but it always took over an hour and got the house so hot for just 2 baked potatoes. This time around I just put the potato in the microwave (after poking it with a fork) for 6 minutes and it was perfect. After dinner I got the girls in the stroller and took an hour walk (again listening to Anne of Green Gables) and then took them to the park for a little bit. We didn't stay too long because we had to get back and get Paul's dinner together for when he got home. After Paul ate we went on a family walk where Mary rode her scooter and we just did a lap around our block. Paul watered the grass and I brushed Mary's teeth. Paul finished putting Mary to bed and I put Katie to bed then practiced violin before going to bed. I reached out to Nicole Hardman, who runs Fernley Performing Arts in town. That's where Mary takes dance classes and they also offer music lessons on the drums, piano, and guitar. Nicole mentioned she'd love to have me teach violin there and I hesitated because I felt too busy with pumping and trying to do everything but since I'm not pumping anymore I reached out to her and said I was interested. Her office manager, Mirandy, reached out to me and we set up that I will teach two beginner violin classes on Saturdays starting in September. I am excited and hope people will sign up.
Saturday Mary woke me up to cuddle then we got up and got ready for dance. We got there on time and I joined Mary at the end to practice the mom and me dance. We made a big breakfast with Dad and Katie when we got home. We went outside to play and I put in our grocery order. Katie napped and I cleaned up a bit then exercised. Paul had some one on one time with Mary where they played in the playroom together. We had lunch then started our fast, this is the first time I have fasted since before I got pregnant with Katie. Katie woke up from her nap and I stayed and played with the girls while Paul picked up the groceries. I cleaned up in the kitchen while he was gone and tried out some new sponges that were sent to me for a dscout study. When Paul got back we went for a short walk to the park. We didn't stay too long again because it started to rain. We came home and watched Frozen 2 and I put Katie down for a nap. It didn't really take though, I wanted to also take a nap so I sort of rested while trying to help Katie be entertained. Paul did some deep cleaning and watered the grass. He also played with Mary. I bathed both girls then Paul put Katie to bed and I put Mary to bed. Mary was tired, she didn't ask to play longer or ask me to cuddle longer, she just went right to sleep. Paul and I stayed up for an hour to watch a movie together. We wanted to watch A Complete Unknown about Bob Dylan but we didn't have Hulu, so we watched The Host based off of Stephenie Meyer's book. Paul went to the room after the first hour but I finished the movie before going to bed. Katie got up at 1 am to eat.
Sunday Paul got up early and went for a walk. The girls were up at 7:20 and he was still out so I got up with them and got them both breakfast then cleaned up a bit before he got back. We both did some meal prep then I took Mary to church. We came home and had chicken kabobs for dinner. Paul tried to cook them on our charcoal grill but they were kind of undercooked. We need to read up more on how to cook on the grill to get better results next time. A little after dinner I went back to the church for my RS meeting where we discussed ministering assignments. We made some changes and it was my first real ministering meeting where I got to make real changes and I'm really excited about the new assignments. After the meeting we went for a family walk to the park. Mary did a great job holding my hand and walking too. After playing at the park for a bit we came home and Paul watered the grass. I fed Katie then ordered chocolate popcorn off Amazon to give to the men in the ward for Father's Day next month. I brushed Mary's teeth then I put Katie to bed while Paul put Mary to bed.
