July 14-20, 2025
Katie: Katie is pulling herself up on furniture now, she is motivated to keep up with her sister!
Mary: Mary says nap when she means map. Mary says, "I want you to stay with me, I don’t want to lose you" at night when it's time to go to bed. How can anyone say no to that??
Mom: This last week was a successful one in terms of reaching my goals. I did my ec's every day (writing, exercise, playing violin, reading scriptures, and reaching my step goal) I also tracked my calories honestly and consistently.
Dad: Dad had another rough week at work. He is meeting with his boss to make changes that will relieve the burden on his and his team's shoulders. He works so hard, we are so grateful to him and proud of him!
This week's activities: Monday Paul came home early and we planned a recurring Disney trip for our family to take in the first quarter of the year. I went to the optometrist to get my glasses fixed. Tuesday we played in the shark pool and I returned my glasses to the post office. Wednesday we played in the shark pool again in our backyard. It was a really hot day! Thursday we went to the church for the exercise class. It was just us, Rosemarie, and April with her kids, Anna and William. We did Zumba and Mary had a blast playing with Anna, William makes her a little nervous. After exercise class we went to the library and Mary got to play with paint. April came with us, so Mary kept playing with Anna. Anna is a sweet girl and is so nice to Mary. She is 13 but enjoys getting on Mary's level. Paul came home early again and I took dinner to the Gochenour's. Mary came with me and played with Lydia and EverLee while ShaLay and I talked and we got to meet baby BrynnLee. Friday we drove to Truckee and went to Donner Memorial State Park. We walked through the museum and walked a little trail. It was perfect. We went to Reno and got Five Guys for dinner then went to the mall and Mary and Katie played on the playground for a couple of hours before we drove home. Mary fell asleep in the car. Saturday I took Mary to Lydia Gochenour's birthday party. They played for four hours, playing in their pool and jumping on the trampoline. Sunday Mary and I went to church and grabbed Arby's on the way home.
