Katie turned 11 months this week! I can't believe it! She is so mobile- she's fast at crawling and can shuffle along as she holds onto something. She is fearless and wants to try everything, both to do and to eat. She has a second molar on the bottom but it's on the left. She also loves waving to us.
Mary said some funny things this week. We were watching K-Pop Demon Hunters and the Saja Boys come onto the screen for the first time when Mary said, "It's their husbands!" When she's playing she often says, "Hi, my name is Mary. What's your name? What's your mom's name? My mom's name is Sarah." She has been asking for a skateboard a lot lately but I guess she only sees boys with them because she asks to be a boy so she can have one. I tell her she can have a skateboard when she's older and she can still be a girl. Mary wrote M-A all by herself in nursery. Her nursery leader helped her write R and Y. She was showing me a picture she colored at church that is a picture of Christ talking to a woman and she said, "This [picture] is mine. It’s a map to find Jesus. I need to find Jesus. … JESUS!"
Mom: I completed my first full week of Keto. It went well and I lost 3 pounds.
Dad said goodbye to Noah this week at a goodbye dinner on Thursday, he's sad to see him go. He presented to Collin (CTO) and was acknowledged for his hard work. He's trying to make it work even though work has gotten to be very frustrating for him.
This week's activities: Wednesday we went to Green Valley Park and the kids played together while the moms played pickleball. I cancelled the relief society activity this week because she got rain storms every night this week, Wednesday being no exception. There was a mudslide on USA parkway (where Dad works). Gratefully he was able to get home and didn't get stuck at work. Thursday we went to the church for the weekly exercise class. Friday I took the girls to the library. Saturday I met up with Naomi to play tennis. Alaina Naressi and Stuart Tomlinson also came and we played a set of doubles then Naomi and I played a couple more games of singles. It was really fun! Sunday I did singing time for Lindsay since she was out of town then I met with Brother Chapman and he called me to be the first counsellor in the Young Women's presidency with Arielle Tomlinson as the president and Kim Wooldridge as the second counsellor. I'm excited to work with them but I'm nervous about doing a calling with the youth, I have never done a calling like this before, so we'll see how it goes.
