October 6-12, 2025

Katie is great at telling us no, she shakes her head and pushes us away with her hands. We're getting better at brushing teeth. We went to Sand Harbor on Lake Tahoe and Katie was crawling all over the place! She climbed up a little hill and went down to the water to splash in the waves and chase seagulls. She likes to put toys in boxes, which Mom loves especially when it's time to clean up.
Mary and I played more this week. We play preschool games and play pretend. She liked to be Doc Ock and I would be the robot. Mary likes Harry Potter, we've been watching the movies this week. She was talking to Dad and he said, "Thanks, Butterfly." Mary said, "I'm not Butterfly, I'm Heart!" Later we were playing with stickers and Mary put one on my arm and said, "Here's a sticker, it has magic now." We were driving home from church and we got off the phone with Dad and Mary said, "Dad is one of the bad boys."
Mom got the car registered online but the title didn't have my name on it so for the time being it's only registered in Dad's name. I went to teach violin on Monday to my new student but Nicole forgot to tell me and Mirandy that she couldn't start until the next week. Tuesday I deep cleaned the pantry and cooked up some meals for everyone for next week while I'm out of town.
Dad has a deadline coming up, so work is really stressful right now. He had to work some long days this week.

Tuesday Mary had dance class and she showed me some of her moves, like making herself into a ball and rolling onto her back and back up. I had a training that night with the Stake Young Women's presidency. It was a nice meeting. Wednesday we went to the park with some friends, ShaLay, Lindsay, Janet, and Arielle. That afternoon I made dinner for the missionaries, along with my other meal prep.  Thursday we drove up to Lake Tahoe with ShaLay Gochenour and met Penelope Galloway up there for a beach day. The kids all played together so well and were entertained the whole day. They all fell asleep on the way home. Friday we went to the DMV to pick up our registration. Saturday I played tennis then taught violin in the afternoon. I won the tennis match 6-1, 6-3. Sunday we had church. One of the 14 year old girls taught the lesson and she did a great job teaching and inviting the Spirit.
