January 12-18, 2026
Katie is talking more this week. She knocked on one of our doors and said, "oh, what's that?" She also likes to say tada! stuck, open, and shut.
I asked Mary, "are you going to come cuddle?" she said, (Wearing sunglasses) "yes, but I can’t see your booful face."
Mom ran four days this week. Dad was home sick on Tuesday so Mom ran in the evening that day. Then she did hills on Wednesday, her normal run again on Thursday, then she ran 4.93 miles in an hour on Saturday.
Dad has had an awesome week of reaching his goals. He studied the LSAT every night, did weights every day, and is succeeding with his nutrition goals.
Monday Dad came home early. I did a deep clean and taught violin that night. Tuesday Dad stayed home sick. I took Mary to dance and Katie stayed home with Dad. Wednesday we went to the park with the Gochenour's. Mary did not want to play with EverLee, which was fine because EverLee likes to hit Mary. so EverLee played with Katie and Mary played with KinsLey. Thursday we had exercise class. That night I went to mutual where our ward combined with Pyramid and they played broom hockey. Friday we had Jessica and Addie over for a play date. Addie was sick and she passed it on to us. Saturday I went for my hour long run then Dad studied for the LSAT. I cleaned, got the girls ready for the day, and showered. We went for a family walk before I taught violin. When I got home we took the girls to Addie's house and Dad and I went on a little date. We tried to go to La Fiesta but they were closed. We drove to Fallon and had enchiladas at Los Gallos then got ice cream at Dairy Queen. Then we picked the girls up and watched movies at home. I went to Christa Seamons house at 6 for a meeting about the relay in May. We talked about vans, who will run which legs, hydration, and recovery/training techniques. Sunday we went to church and I had a presidency meeting after. Dad had taken Katie home and put her down for a nap, so Mary and I got a ride home from Arielle Tomlinson. I finished my puzzle of the ice cream truck and we ended the day with family time (scriptures then games).
