Katie loves to give hugs and kisses to our whole family. She is so cuddly. She can say "stop" "up" and says, "stuck" to let me know she needs something. She is officially done with her binky. I even tried to give it to her on Friday when she wouldn't go to sleep and she didn't want it.
Mary is a great walker. She never asked to get in the stroller while we walked around Virginia City and she consistently walks to and from the park with us without asking to get in the stroller. It's been tricky this week but she has started doing chores. She helps pick up her toys, picks stuff up in the kitchen or puts the silverware away, and picks up her clothes, books, and toys in her room. While watching Meet the Robinsons, Mary said, "Wow! Those are amazing machines!"
Mom: I ran 3 times this week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Something that stood out to me during my scripture study this week was a comment made on the Seeking Him podcast where the woman said that we are never far from the path. We don't have to hike back 100 miles to get to Christ. To return to His path you just reach out and step back on. Just read your scriptures, reach out in prayer and step back on the path to Him.
Dad had a good week of doing weights every day, studying for the LSAT, going Keto during the week, and low carb on the weekends, and doing his nightly walks. He did go to the doctor to figure out what is going on with some discomfort in his abdomen.

Monday Dad stayed home from work and we went to Virginia City as a family. We played at the park there then checked out their Catholic church building. We walked down their Main Street and looked at some shops. We saw some old mining equipment and learned that Mark Twain had his first job in Virginia City. We stopped by the grocery store and Dad got Mom some red velvet cake and a box of chocolates and Mary got some suckers. I did my weight workout when we got home and taught violin that night.
Tuesday Mary had dance. Dad had a doctor's appointment and got some blood work and imaging ordered for some lumps he feels in his abdomen that are causing him discomfort. That night I went to mutual, it was a triward activity bingo night. We had a meeting right after to figure out the activity for next week. A group that drove home together decided they didn't like the plan and made a new plan that no one else liked but led to another meeting on Sunday after Stake Conference to iron that one out.
Wednesday we didn't go anywhere so I finally took the plunge and went through our guest room and posted a bunch of stuff on facebook.
Thursday we went to the exercise class at the church then picked up groceries after. I sold the vintage pie dishes I posted. Dad came home early from work after he got his blood drawn. I subbed piano that night.
Friday I did my weight routine then bathed the girls. I sold some quilts then went home and showered before we met up with friends at the park. ShaLay and I had a good time talking about stuff that is stressing her out, the relay in May, and a new business she is starting. Her new business is tiny homes, decor, and she thinks one day she'll expand it to include more things. Dad got home while we were at the park. Bedtime didn't really workout, the girls didn't go to sleep until 9 pm.
Saturday I went for my long run and ran 5.4 miles in an hour (compared to 4.9 last saturday). We went for a walk to Green Valley Park. It was really fun until Katie walked onto the spinning thing and got clocked in the head with the pole. We went home after that. Paul took a practice LSAT test and feels good about it. I taught violin in the afternoon. I took a shower and cleaned the house in the afternoon. Dad and the girls watched movies. I got ready and met up with some people to sell stuff off facebook before going to Fallon to speak in the Adult session of Stake Conference. I told the story of the Three Trees. 13 people told me they liked my talk and a handful of them asked me to send them the story. I got home and cuddled with Mary before going to bed.
Sunday Dad and I got in a big fight and I didn't feel up to much even though we had a fun day planned. We did end up going to the park in the afternoon.
