Katie: I handed Katie a flashlight and she said, "here-ya-go!" She can also say "stop" and "what is it?"
Mary said this week, "I told ya! Hedgehogs don’t bite!" I was singing and she said, "Mom, be quiet." She keeps me humble.
Mom went to the tri-ward RS activity where we did a gift exchange and got Sommer Powelson's gift. It was fish and chips: a bag of potato chips and a live beta fish! ShaLay Gochenour switched with me, so I took home some pot holders.
Dad was in Japan this week. He went to Tokyo for the first time and saw the Imperial Palace. He walked 10 miles one day and got a really gnarly blister. He got to look around Shibuya as well. He said the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Monday morning we had Josie and Jack over. After they left we went to Grimes Point for a couple of hours, playing in the rocks and sand. We grabbed some lunch and went home. We watched a movie while Katie napped and I fell asleep as well! I taught violin that night then Nana and I put the girls to bed. That night I recorded some stories on Yoto and read my color analysis book and did some of my color course.
Tuesday we had breakfast together then went to the park before Nana started her drive home. It was so much fun having her stay with us! Mary stayed in the doorway until she couldn't see her Nana anymore. I took Mary to dance soon after that. Katie and I played at the park while she danced.
Wednesday I took the girls to Arielle Tomlinson's house while I went to the dentist. They ordered the wrong thing so I have to go back in 3 more weeks to get the right night guard. I picked the girls up and met up with our friends at the park. Lindsay, ShaLay, Penelope, Arielle, and a couple of other moms were there.
Thursday we went to the exercise class. It was very warm so we came home and the girls played in the water in the shark pool in the backyard. Friday we went to the tri-ward RS activity. The girls played in the nursery while I participated in the activity. We had dinner and did a gift exchange.
Saturday I took the girls to the Durocher's while I taught violin. We picked Dad up from the airport that night. We sure missed him! He brought home so many fun gifts for all of us. Sunday we had church and I wore a beautiful Japanese hairpin.
