Katie would ask "are you done yet?" to us this week. I heard her say to Mary "go to bed!" one of the nights. She named her teddy bear that she got from Uncle Joe. She named it Fluff. She kept saying, "Where is my fluff?" Sunday night she figured out how to climb out of her crib and she didn't hurt herself at all in the process.
Mary: Dad asked, "do you have any bug bites?" Mary said, "Of course! Somewhere!" Whenever we would tease her or discipline her she would reply with, "How dare you!" We bought costumes for the girls for Halloween this week, so they are locked in for the year. Honorable mentions for ideas from Mary include but are not limited to: mermaid, pirate, Evil Queen (with poison apple necklace), vampire, ladybug superhero, spider, astronaut.
Monday was just a normal cleaning day. Tuesday we went to the park with Lindsay, ShaLay, Penelope, and Arielle. Wednesday the girls went to dance. Katie was sad for the first half and participated for the second half. Thursday Dad had a doctor's appointment, he liked his doctor and they made a plan that he's happy with. We went to the exercise class at Green Valley park. We got a firepit and set it up but didn't have any propane yet. I taught violin that night.
Friday I took the girls to the library. They weren't interested in reading time but they joined in the craft of making a small board game of spiders going through a spiderweb. Dad got propane on the way home so we cooked hot dogs and s'mores over our new fire pit. Saturday I taught piano and violin. Dad made a delicious tin foil dinner for me to come home to. He pulled some strings and told me that I am going to Japan with him for his trip in November! I'm so grateful to Wendy and Rachel for watching the girls while we go. He's going the week before Thanksgiving then I'll meet him over there the week of Thanksgiving when his work obligations are over. I'm so excited! Sunday we went to church through zoom because the parking lot is under construction.
